Dolomiti Superski Winter Holidays at Pütia

Winter holidays at Pütia

Lift “Piculin”

The cable railway in Piccolino (1 km from San Martino) enables the connection of Plan de Corones to Alta Badia and to the Sella Ronda.
The red-marked (difficulty degree) slope which was built in addition to the lift, reaches the small locality of Picolin from where a skibus starts every 20 minutes in order to guarantee the connection with the ski area Alta Badia.
The area “Plan de Corones” is so the starting-point and the destination for all ski activities in the heart of the Dolomites.

Antermoia (1.515m) enjoys an idyllic setting of beautiful mountain valleys, with the dramatic backdrop of the Dolomites, the so-called “pale mountains”.

A holiday with us means great hiking at the foot of the Dolomites, with limitless natural beauty and a wide and enchanting range of rich cultural delights to discover. Our guests have numerous Alpine sports to enjoy all winter long.

Snowy landscape in the DolomitesThe area around San Martino in Badia is ideal
for skiing tours. Puez is a virtually unknown
but highly attractive skiing area for demanding
winter-sports enthusiasts, with a wide number
of touring routes.

Some of these Puez tours include country that
requires solid Alpine-skiing experience on the
part of those concerned, while other are
classed as easy, as they offer a lower level of
difficulty and fewer hazards. Ski tour guides can
obtain assistance from the tourism association.

Those guests who seek other winter experiences will find ice rinks and tobogganing runs (including the run from Passo delle Erbe to Antermoia, a sledging run from Campill to Plan Ranciogn in the Puez-Odle nature park and the illuminated Do Juvel natural run in Campill, which is approved for racing).

Cross-country skiers are also in their element. The route from Passo delle Erbe to Funes (24 km – there and back) and the new, 6.5 km-long route around Peitlerkofel offer a true paradise for the cross-country skier, while the routes of San Vigilio (Pederü), S. Cassiano (Armentarola) and Corvara are likewise within easy reach.

There are also plenty of opportunities for winter hiking. Most hiking routes are free of motorised traffic. They are cleared as soon as possible after snowfalls. Other popular activities include snowshoe trekking, which allows you to explore untouched winter landscapes while enjoying the fragrant air and pleasantly deep silence.

What about skiing?
The ski lift in Antermoia starts from right in the middle of the village. Its corresponding ski slope is especially suitable for children and families. The Pic Ant ski school (www.picant.it) offers special packages designed for children. The skiing regions of Plan de Corones and Alta Badia (11 km and 20 km respectively) are not far away, and are within easy reach.
This is the place to come when you want a holiday away from the crowds, but with plenty of sports and leisure facilities close by.
