Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch pass
The beauty couldn’t be any closer: Just 10 minutes’ drive from our motorcycle hotel in the Dolomites is Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch pass, popular with motorcycle enthusiasts. A fantastic tour leads from the picturesque and historical town of Brixen up to this jewel in the mountains.
Val Gardena/Gröden
Distance: 220km
Duration: 5 hours
Starting from your motorcycle hotel in the Dolomites, head to Val Gardena/Gröden with its famous holiday resorts of Ortisei, Santa Cristina, and Selva, then make your way to Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, Europe’s largest high alpine pasture, located in the centre of Sciliar/Schlern-Catinaccio/Rosengarten Nature Park. From here, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains. Then continue over Passo Nigra/Niger pass and Lavazè pass – and plan for a few photo breaks for the most breathtaking views around. Finally, the view of the impressive massif of Mt Latemar and Mt Catinaccio/Rosengarten opens up before you as you ascend through Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa to Canazei.
Passo Sella/Sellajoch pass
Distance: 85km
Duration: 1-2 hours
From Hotel Pütia, ride into famous Val Gardena/Gröden with the famous holiday resorts of Ortisei, St. Cristina, and Selva and finally towards the Passo Sella/Sellajoch pass – a real highlight for all motorcycle fans. The tour continues via Canazei and Val di Fassa to Passo di Costalunga/Karer pass and the region around Mt Latemar and Mt Catinaccio/Rosengarten. You then follow Val d’Ega/Eggental to the turnoff towards Steinegg, and from here you can return to Valle Isarco/Eisacktal via 13 hairpin bends. Once there, you can start your ride back to Antermoia.
Val Badia/Gadertal
Distance: 100km
Duration: 2-3 hours
Enjoy a leisurely ride along the state road into Val Pusteria/Pustertal, while to your left and right the mountain passes rise to over 2,000 metres above sea level. Toblach, the gateway to the Dolomites, paves the way into Cortina d’Ampezzo to Falzarego pass, then on to Valparola pass, through Val Badia/Gadertal, and finally over Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch pass. The highlights of this day tour: high alpine experiences at the tree line, enjoyable bends, and the lush green meadows of the valleys.
Val Pusteria/Pustertal
Distance: 100km
Duration: 2 hours
This tour takes you from Hotel Pütia through Val Pusteria/Pustertal and to the alpine-Mediterranean town of Bruneck. From here, take a detour into Valli di Tures e Aurina/Tauferer Ahrntal to the village of Sand in Taufers. Finally, go through Val Badia/Gadertal (new road layout and new tunnels) via San Martino in Badia and Antermoia to the incredibly scenic Passo delle Erbe/Würzjoch pass.
